When investing wax patterns, air is frequently trapped in narrow
areas; and using brushes to coat these areas with investment can
usually lead to additional entrapment of air. Additionally, when
using a brush for detailed investing, liquid can be added or
withdrawn from the mix which can affect its expansion behavior.
The use of sharp-edged instruments increases the probability of
damaging wax patterns, therefore they are not recommended.
Thanks to the flexible and bent tip, the Transfuser allows
controlled and bubble-free filling of investment even in the
tightest spaces without damaging wax/plastic patterns. |
