There are two types of models: one upper jaw and one lower jaw. Each has two
overdentures with different attachments that can be used to compare
retentiveness and comfort for ease of insertion and removal by the patient.
Note: All of these systems can be combined with
each other to create a totally customized prosthesis
that can suit every patient’s individual needs.
A
snap-style attachment system that is
available in two ball diameters 2.2mm
(standard size) and 1.7mm (miniature
size). This system provides excellent
retention making a noticeable “snap”
sound when inserted.
An
attachment system that provides gentle,
glide-in friction and excellent
stability for the overdenture.
This system
features a “push button” pin that
engages the bar. Patients can easily
lock and unlock their overdentures using
their fingernails or if necessary, a
custom laboratory-made key instrument.
