Waxed-up using the Protek system
Very flexible and pressure resistant - easily
bent - can be used without splitting. The Protek system can be
used for even the most complicated cases. It creates the correct
shape and is very precise.
Wax-up with waxes of different hardnesses and
colors. Extremely difficult to carve uniformly and contour
harmoniously.
With Protek, all of the waxes are the same
consistency, which makes it easier to wax up the pattern
harmoniously at the various junctures. Protek emphasizes the
contrasting colors thanks to the opaque color. Even slightly
rough areas can be identified and smoothed.
This self-adhesive saddle wax with a
preformed border is available in two different sizes and thicknesses and
guarantees that the under side of the acrylic is precise and absolutely
even. The border matches the lingual bar joiner exactly.

The sculpturing wax has the same
consistency as all Protek components, which enables junctures to be
waxed-up effortlessly. It is no longer necessary to carve from hard into
soft wax.
Protek wax bars are available in three sizes to fit every type of jaw.
Thanks to the structure, the wax bars are easily adapted and exhibit no
elastic recovery. The high pressure resistance of this wax prevents
deformation of the patterns and ensues that the framework is
aesthetically shaped.

The lower edge of the Protek joiner is shaped to fit the investment
finishing line exactly, which was duplicated with Protek saddle wax. Figure 2
Protek lingual bar joiners are available to fit every size of the bar. The joiner is fitted into place and waxed onto the bar which eliminates the need to wax up the joint. Protek lingual bar joiners are available in two sizes and matched to the three thicknesses of Protek lingual bar to suit any situation.

Protek clasps and bars can be used for interdental junctions. The
Protek joiner is matched to the relevant bar and only requires placing. Figure 4
If Opticast is brushed onto the pattern, the components do
not have to be waxed together and even the finest cracks are sealed. The
investment material cannot creep under the pattern.
Self-adhesive patterns stick exactly, even after being
adjusted three or four times
Thanks to their resistance to deformation and pressure,
all Protek patterns can be fitted easily and quickly.
All Protek components stay exactly in place when bent,
eliminates the need to wax them into place and,
especially in the case of clasp tips, the grinding.
Adapting self-adhesive Protek retainers to the model
eliminates the need to wax them into the place and also
eliminates the ensuing grinding. The wax is pressure
resistant, which provides for uniformly thick retainers.
This increases precision and saves time.
